Goddard Schools provide a unique advantage to their teachers - professional development through Goddard Systems University (GSU).

GSU supports the on-going training of Goddard teachers by providing regional classes on a quarterly basis as well as on-site training by Corporate Representatives. GSU training has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

•GSU includes an exclusive training series developed specifically for Goddard School teachers. This unique program coaches teachers in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, developmental guidelines and enrichment programs.

•GSU awards Training Hours which may be applied to a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. CDA is a nationally recognized credential and is awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition.

•GSU encourages teachers to share their ideas, express their viewpoints and develop relationships with their peers throughout the Goddard organization.

•GSU trains teachers to develop nurturing learning environments.

•GSU informs teachers about child development trends and current research.
